In the second paragraph of the section titled "Birth and family", Tubman's death year and tombstone year are listed as coming prior to her birth year. 63.231.131.215 (talk) 13:54, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Add the fact that Harriet Tubman appears in Sid Meier's Civilization VII (preferably after the game releases on February 11) in Artistic Portrayals. FillieYT (talk) 02:13, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Under an image of a poster saying "Three Hundred Dollar Reward" it says "...US$100..." which is not accurate to the poster. I would like that to be edited. GiftedGirI (talk) 00:47, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There are hardly any citations for ANY of the information, even in the PRIMARY PARAGRAPHS. In the 4th paragraph of the page, alleging her involvement with the Union Army, there is not a single citation. Preposterous claims in that paragraph aside, the information either needs to be properly verified/cited or removed entirely.
Lede paragraphs are generally not referenced if the content is later ref'd in the body of the article. If you have such an issue with this, feel free to work to improve the article instead of just complaining. - Adolphus79 (talk) 18:51, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DgZt73: Adolphus79 is correct; what you are calling the "primary paragraphs" do not contain citations because of the guidance at MOS:LEADCITE. Regarding the content in the fourth paragraph, that is mostly a summary of information in the "American Civil War" section, which has 27 distinct citation footnotes, and the "Later life" section, which has 55 citation footnotes. If you believe those sections contain some mistake(s) or that the lead does not accurately summarize them, then please either correct the mistake(s) or raise them for discussion here. --RL0919 (talk) 21:15, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: The article says Tubman made some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people. This is followed by For her guidance of the raid at Combahee Ferry, which liberated more than 700 enslaved people, she is widely credited as the first woman to lead an armed military operation in the United States.—crediting her with a rather different role in a particular event. Remsense ‥ 论18:37, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think a US government agency having a webpage on a famous American is a notion that can speak to its own mention in that famous American's biography—likewise with the current events a thousand other things are shallowly tied up in. I agree she's a major figure in Black history, that's exactly why these news items are total minutiae when compared to what the article should be focusing on. The article you linked that's primarily about these events is exactly where the accounts of these pages should remain, where they in turn can receive proper focus. This is a biography of Tubman, not a coatrack for events not really about her. Remsense ‥ 论20:14, 8 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is a lot of material published about Tubman, and we are trying to keep the article up to featured standards. Because of that we are relatively selective about what gets included. With that in mind, I agree with Remsense. This seems (so far) to be too transient and tangential to include here. --RL0919 (talk) 06:10, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
